Purdy Combos

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

This is the peachleaf bellflower and digitalis lutea. An accident combination that turned out pretty good. Once in while certain ho-hum plants will get together and you see them in a whole different light. I really like the blue/purple and yellow together. Since we can post multiple photos on a single thread now I'd love to see some other photos of pleasing combos... anyone else have some good ones to share?

Here's one of some wildflowers behind my gazebo..it was taken at sunset. I like the combo of blue and pink.

Add some Dusty Miller, or something else with a greyish blue leaf, it really lights up the dark blue/purple shades. Another "accidental combination" in my yard. Sorry, no pictures.

Good idea Mary E..I'll remember that for next spring.

Starz - what kind of flowers are they? It sure is a pretty combo! I love it :)

Poppysue..I don't know the names of them..they are just from a packet of wildflower mix that I put down..and the colour in that little patch changes as different ones come into bloom..

That is VERY NICE! I like it even more since seeing the front side with the clematis and the stonework. Good job!
