maybe Owen will repost the recipe one of these days for the benefit of the ones who missed it before.

Good grief, y'all made a mess in my living room!! CC, I found a little piece of cake but it looks a bit like someone sat on it. Drinks are in the fridge. There are some chips left(sort of scattered all around and a bit soggy) but looks like the crab dip is all gone.
Cala, down here it would be smoked mullet dip...
OK, off to Arlene's for the next party!!! What shall we bring?
Cala, let's go to Dees she has more room and no close neighbors....
Beautiful! Thanks Snow!!
Meems
Dee's it is then. When should we start arriving? Does she have to work tomorrow?
Nope, don't have to work, but wear a sweatshirt it is going to be on the cool side. Oops, sorry, cool for those of us down in the south. High 61
I'll take 61, lol. It started out around 50ºF/10ºC this morning and now it's falling. It was sleeting for a few minutes.
Oh yuk, you need to move south for sure.
Ms Dee, hope you get used to the meds soon. please email me the name, i'll probably have to type it and won't know how to spell it.

Bad news, suppose to be down to 30 tonight, gonna be a cold one, how about you Arlene are you going to be that cold?? We can still have a party, might keep us warm. CC I will put your cake on top of the fridge so they don't sit on it, unless of course someone decides to use the top as a chair!

So Glory.....Biloxi bacon? how did it get that name? is it a greasy fish? Are you having one of those turduckens for thanksgiving?
Kell,
Have no idea where Biloxi bacon came from all I know is we have a lot of Mullet here.
We are just having plain old turkey...that's if I don't froget to take it out of the frezer.
Very proud of you.....trying to be good....I know it's very hard.....Good Girl!!!
Excellent work! So glad to see you guys finally got this one off the ground. I think we are bound to see brugmansia hybrids improving by leaps and bounds with so many individuals picking up this hobby. I have to admit its nice knowing that so many are just as enthused if not more so about new and more improved Brugmansia hybrids....
brugmansia--I think your city and state is showing up on screen. Is that new?
Brugman,
Are you at Fort Sam? My DH used to be the PX manager there in the eighties.
Glory,
You hit the nail on the forehead.
Desert Rose,
The listing is new as previously I was in Florida. I have to admit though that its much colder than I thought it would be today. Feels like its in the 40's...Brrr.
Bet you are not having the most fun of your life right now Eric:) I can remember my Army days....and I would not trade them for anything, nor would I care to re-live a single one of them. LOL
Owen,
I can definitly agree that the Army can be the best of times and the worst of times all rolled up in one. Or so it seems when your under the gun sometimes, but then for those that actually served during a time of war its a whole nother ball of wax. Suffice it to say that I have to respect any member of any branch for putting any amount of time in whether during peace time or war. I've been watching the news a bit each day though to be sure.
Amen! I met my husband there and some great friends. My Colonel is still like my father(I know really Odd) But--Oh I'm too opinionated for it. Eric-- So your still active?
DesertRose,
I'm most certainly active. Most of my male family members have served in one branch or another. The only exception in three generations is my brother. I have to confess only a few have retired from any branch though.
brugmansia--Even after all that "training" at Westpoint my Husband didn't want to stay in. He saw things differently being married to me.
I was ready to retire from the Army the second day, when the big bad sargeants yelled at me! But you guessed it....they just told me to shut up and give 'em 20 pushups:)
I got even tho, I made sergeant myself after 23 1/2 months, so I felt much better the last year of my service:) LOL
I was always on the edge of "going over the line" --I knew how to phrase things & how to read those over me. That's how I got a postion working directly for the Provost Marshal. I was the only truthful enlisted there at the time.
