I have some bearded iris out of the ground, the roots are dried. I was not able to get them transplanted due to the weather and now an injury. Would they store better in the cool basement, cold garage, in vermiculite? Any suggestions?

Can you pot them and maybe store them in the cold garage?
Marcia, I posted the same question a week ago on the BULB forum. I don't know how to hyperlink, but there is advice there. I just got mine in, last week! Doris
Oh, just what I needed to read! With my various difficulties, I still have my wonderful order from Schreiner's sitting in the box they came in. I was wondering if I should pot them or what. Am on my way to bulbs to see all the advice.
