When are these plants supposed to come up? I planted them late last fall and the bulbs looked fresh and viable.

There are several types of hardy cyclamen. Some flower in the spring, and some flower in the autumn. Maybe yours was an autumn-flowering variety. I'd just leave them and wait for them to come up when they're ready.
