Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Went to my first plant swap today - Mid Atlantic Plant Swap at Black Hills Regional Park around Germantown, MD. Traded a lot and came home with Strobilanthes dyerianus, spanish bluebells, pink poppy, allium, purple datura and som trident maple to start bonsai!
Had fun and will look forward to the Spring Swap.

Haighr I'm glad to see you went... and that you didn't let the "current events" ruin the day for you. I bet it was a good time. It's always fun to get together with other gardeners.

It was well worth the trip. Finally figured that if my time was up it didn't really matter where I was at the time LOL! Better to be swapping plants than get "taken out" cleaning house!
The folks were all very pleasant and very, very generous. You wouldn't believe all the stuff I got. It was the best shopping!

MD &, VA(Zone 7b)

Glad you had a good time Candee! Sounds like you got some cool goodies too :) I didn't get to make it this time :(

This was the third one and so far everyone of them have been rainy or overcast days, LOL. Seems to be just the way the MAG's (Mid Atlantic Gardening) swaps go. Look forward to going the the spring MAG swap :)

Hope to meet you at the spring swap. I will be doing a lot more digging and will have some food and be much better prepared. I had taken seed, and some plants, but they were gone in a flash!

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)
