Upon advice from an instructor some time age, I have created my garden for a big fall finish. His thinking and mine (now) is that what is last seen is last remembered. Sure I have spring and summer bloom. But I save the best for last. The challenge is for the spring and summer bloomers to also have good 'looks' throughout the rest of the season or they will end up on the compost heap as non-performers.
Many gardens with potential, peter out in the end. Similiar to a purchased (spring) hanging basket that is non-existent come summer.
Spring-Summer-Fall?
So, golddog, what's inyour fall garden? :-)
