I forget the thread where we talked about Aroids. Now I have to have Aroids. I have no outside light to speak of, so lighting is necessary on the first floor. Any suggestions. Maybe overhead from the ceiling?

As for lighting, I would try to simulate a soft natural environment. I would try to create filtered moonlight, thereby creating lots of shadows.
Many aroids are hardy, some which can tolerate temperatures to about 0 degrees. I'm trying to collect the Aroids that will survive outside in a sheltered area in my zone 7 winters. If you are interested, I'll send you some of the links that I have found.
