Ok, I'm rather easy to please in the garden..lol. The Daturas that I grew from seed 2 months ago just bloomed outside! Since I am a new Datura grower, I would never have believed that this plant would flower when only 8 inches high and a few months old, putting on a beautiful display of large purple flowers. Ok, I'm done bragging but I'm still smiling :)

Wow, Dicentra, if I didn't know better, I would think you were describing my own experience with Datura this year! My first datura bloomed at the age of 2 months, and he was only about 12 inches tall! The bloom was massive, white, and very fragrant. Trish and I went out in the pouring rain the morning it opened to look at and smell it.
That bloom is now long gone, but there are 4 new buds on the plant! The datura is a lot of fun, isn't it?
