Planting Salvia-Question

I put out a tray of "Red Hot Sally" Salvia today. I didn't know if I should pinch the blooms back or leave them. I decided to leave them and ask you all. I would like for them to grow to be full, so should I go pinch them?

The prettiest salvias I ever had got frosted on and I had to pinch the tops out. They were so bushy they looked like small shrubs.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate your help. Since this is only my second year to garden the basics sometimes stump me!
