Aaaahhhh...I just spent the day at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA ...smelling flowers, dreaming under tons of blooming wisteria, hanging out with the banana trees, marveling at the tropicals destined for other growing regions...and I realized during the visit..wow, there is soooo much I don't know - yikes! My only reassurance was that I actually helped out a few visitors with things I did know and that there are classes for everything else..lol.

ps..I also found out that Longwood Gardens has a 2 year tuition-free professional garden study (you live there) and they offer free housing and a stipend. If I only knew about this years ago!
Longwood Gardens
Trish... It has been many years, long before I had an interest in gardening, that I used to visit Longwood on my way home from Doylestown for occasional business meetings. I loved it even then as a non-gardener! (I also loved getting fresh mushrooms in Kennet Square!) What a lovely gift to give yourself!
Oh, i've always wanted to go there! Unfortunatley, it's always farming time when the blooms are the best. Someday...
