Liquid Sevin

Harford County, MD(Zone 6b)

Does anyone know how long you can keep liquid sevin mixed up in a sprayer.I never seem to use it all up at one time and hate to pour it out if it can be used later.

Oklahoma City, OK(Zone 7a)

I called the manufacturer for you. The person I spoke to said that it needs to be discarded if you have any left. The chemicals that would kill anything break down after awhile when mixed with water, so keeping it won't do any good.

The manufacturer is Later Chemicals, Ltd. in British Columbia. The number I called was: 604-271-4224 - taken directly off their MSDS form.

Hope this helps.

At one of our pesticide classes(those I have to take to get certified) they said that if you refrigerate mixed chemicals they will keep for up to two weeks. Of course, I wouldn't refrigerate any chemicals in the household refrigerator, but if you have a spare in the garage or shed, that might work.

Thanks smilin32 for going to all that trouble to find out.I tried to find an answer through Google but no luck.Cala,I guess I'll have to pour it out as I only have one fridge.I'll just walk around the yard first to see what else could use a spray or two.I mixed it up to spray my brug by the way.Something is eating the leaves. Thanks again you two for the info.
