GREAT control/kill info and pictures of garden pests

Richmond Hill, GA(Zone 8b)

I found this while looking for something to kill the grasshoppers that have descended upon my garden. It has some great information along with color pictures of your common vegetable garden pests. Both types of control methods are listed. I _really_ liked that. It's in PDF format. :)

Here's a text version of the info above but unfortunately there are _no_ color pictures with it. :(

Thanks, Terri! Seeing this publication from OSU brought up lots of good gardening memories for me (not that the bugs were good, mind you!) We moved away from Oklahoma last year, and I do miss the OSU extension agency in Tulsa. They were so prominent on the local gardening scene that they had their own gardening show on PBS for several years, and the MG program was always booked up. I used their volunteer-staffed hotline several times as a beginning gardener, and found them to be fairly knowledgeable and patient.

I know UT has a lot of agricultural-based programs, but I haven't found the same level of involvement here localy - they handle the soil tests and have literature available, but no programs for gardeners that I can see. Maybe I just haven't tapped into the right source yet......

That is a great site! Too much info to absorb all at once but the PDF format made it really easy to print out!
Thanks for sharing it.

Here's some good pictures of tomato problems. Problems I hope I _don't_ have mind you. LOL
