I am green with envy! Twice this spring I have hitched up the trailer to the garden tractor and hauled the 'waking brugs' from the basement and then back in again....cold snaps have surely slowed things down here :( Ditto on seeing those blooms!

Calalilly, how big are they when they first bloom?? I just had three shipped to me and they are growing like crazy. Haven't had them before and these were recent cuttings.

This Frosty Pink was a tip cutting last year. I think it took it about three months to bloom. This is it's second year. I overwintered this one in the green house. The Frosty pink is shorter than a lot of the other varieties.
The brugs bloom on lateral growth, so when you see the branches growing two little limbs at the tips, it won't be long till they bloom. The buds start out tiny, but grow pretty fast. Mine are about 3 or 4 inches long now.

Thanks for the information, Calalily. I would love to see the pictures. It's hard to believe how fast these of mine are growing. Can't wait til they bloom.
