The first flush of blooms for the season is over, now what are you relying on to carry you into the fall, and ultimately frost?
What is going to bloom?
the hollyhocks and pansies, all of my really late seedings, snapdragons, johnny-jump-ups, malvas, daisies, glads, self-seeded poppies, feverfew, old daylilies, Queen Ann's Lace, early asters, yarrow, black eyed susans, early chrysanthemums,Malva sylverstris, phlox, knautia, the reblooming roses, then the wild asters, golden rod, later chrysanthemums, osteropermums, sedums, and my sweet pes, which are just budding.
Whew Kathleen! That's quite a list!
I'm still waiting for some of my plants to bloom!
Cosmos have just started..zinnias..just started..
Garden Phlox..and glads..
still to come are the sedums and garden mums in the fall..
My Gallardia are still going strong..they are bushy and full of blooms..
My Everest rose is putting out new growth with buds for a second bloom time.
