can i put in perennials now? can i move them now/ can i transplant them from another location to mine now? or do I need to wait until after the last frost date?

newbie zone 5 transplanting?
Hi debi, I like to move things around as early as possible in my garden. I think it's less stress on the plant if they're just coming out of dormancy and don't have a lot of new growth. They recover much quicker and usually they hardly notice the disturbance. ~So~ I'd say go for it. Just be careful with new plants that have been growing in a cozy, warm greenhouse and haven't been outside for long.
thank you poppysue. i can't tell you how grateful i am to you and all of dave's gardeners. i'm learning so much. thanks again.
debi
