I am new to rose propagation and have a 2 roses (cecil bruner and stainless steel) that I would like to propagate.
Does anyone know how large the cuttings need to be, and if the rose is in bloom, or has buds, do I need to cut them off. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!!
Rose Propagation
Hi, Ladyhawke! Welcome to DG - hope you like gardening here....
About those roses. Here's a recent thread on the propagation forum that deals with propagating roses:
http://davesgarden.com/showthread/16072.html
And you may want to have Dave move your question to the propagation forum, where it's bound to get some attention from folks with more propagation expertise than I possess.
And there's the rose forum if you haven't checked it out....lots of rose growers over there. Hope this helps!
Thanks go vols for your help. I lost this thread, and now that Ive found it, Im sure to check out your link. Again Thank you!!!
