Hope you're having a wonderful day ! Yes, I was up late - but when I go back to work, that all changes. Summer vacation - any semblance of a schedule has flown out the window a long time ago.

I figure, little kids like to round up to the next half because it makes them feel more mature. You know, "I'm six and a half years old!". So why can't I retail number my age? ;)

Yes, folks, he raises a valid point. The goober. When we were waiting at the courthouse to get our marriage license ten years ago, we sat on a bench next to the juvenille probation area. On the same bench was a kid of about 13. He looked us over and asked, "what are you here for?"

I, all giggly and happy, said "to get our marriage license!" He asked us how old we were and I told him we were both 24.

He looked shocked, saying to Howie, "Man! I thought you were 19...And she was 35!"

I believe in the death penalty for smart-mouthed juvies. ;)

Then, at my job at the call center, a co-worker jokingly called me "cradle robber" after meeting Howie for the first time. She said he had a baby face and couldn't be older than 19. *sigh* Since his accident in 1994, though, he's slowly been catching up with me. And he DOES NOT always get carded now.
