TiG, I answered in the soil forum. Are you sure they are silver fish or are they centipedes? If you're using it in the ground it shouldn't hurt.

no and they aren't silverfish. don't think they are even centipedes, I've been looking at pictures on google. black, maybe 1/4" - 1/2" and the tail is like an inverted V. dont' remember the head.
