My fresias grew nicely upright until the flower-stalks started to shoot up. Now they just hang around at ground level, and are even pulling the plants over with them.
Is there any surefire way to keep these wee devils' heads up in the air, and not looking for slugs??
*frustrated*

Why can't I get mine to stand??
How deep did you plant them?
The only way to solve the problem right now is staking :(
I planted them at 7cm (2.7" to be exact;-}), as that is what I'd been 'advised'.
I don't have enough stakes to put them all up, I've got 25 of them.
Woe is me.....
Wintermoor
Hmmmmm, approx 3" deep is technically correct. The only thing I can think of at the moment is that they have grown too quickly.
Interesting problem, droopy Freesias!
put in a few stakes and string twing around the stakes if you planted them in a row if not do the best you can
ooer
;-)

I'll try some wee things out tomorrow, like tying them up, and putting a central stake between maybe 5. I'll have to dig them up though and re-plant. If they don't like it...... TOUGH!!!!
