natural wood pieces in the garden

Paxton, FL(Zone 8a)

These are some of the natural pieces of wood I use as garden art. I have stitched together 4 pictures. The ones in front of the log cabin are actually how it was last year.
The 2 stumps are upside down and placed by our shop.

Great job, I am with you on the stumps. We have hauled more wood into this yard. We use stumps and lots of driftwood from the bay. All the garden walks are edged in driftwood and we have one stump planed down for a table outside. Every time we go for a drive, we keep our eyes peeled for interesting pieces, that aren't already spoken for.

Beautiful pieces of wood. I would really like to know how you got those pictures together. Are they scanned and saved to:?

Thanks. I have stitched some more together with some very unique pieces. Most of these tiG, are lighterd (lightwood knots), you know, to start fires with. They will last a long, long time. A couple of pieces are not and they won't last as long.

Busybee, I use a digital camera, and the program that came with the camera gives you the ability to stitch together the pics. You can blend them, but I wanted them to be identified as different pictures. The one I just finished has seven pictures put together, but not as evenly as these.

we have only one piece of lightard. Standing vertical, I love it. Wish I had a thousand pieces of it! might have to go on a swamp search or maybe on the 1000 acres across the road. would love to see your yard, it looks scrumptious!

Very unusual looking pieces. They look very nice and blend well with nature. Duh...of course they do..they are after all a part of nature.lol at self.. Had a "Senior Moment"
You don't find that type of wood around here. I'm always looking for unusual items to put in my garden.
