I feel like such a pain, but I have another specific problem. My daughter gave me a potted Gerbera daisy. It wilted right away, so I watered it and then planted it the next day. We have had a dry spell, but if I don't water it every day, it wilts again. And if the flowers wilt, the stems break and any that are buds won't open. Can this be used in the bog garden? It doesn't have any buds now but I thought it had a longer blooming period. Will more buds form?

Ours is the same way. If we miss a day's watering, it wilts like it is going to die immediately. We just water the heck out of it and hope for the best. Ours rests a few days and then sends up new stems and blooms . I would think it would do in a bog area that has light soil. Lou
Yeah, I have the same problem! Mine has been in a pot since I got it 4 years ago. If it goes dry for even a day, it looks like it's dying. And I thought these came originally from high desert terrain in South Africa!??
Well, I'm going to give it a try. I will post my results in a few weeks even if it drowns, lol
