I purchased some of the Megagrow GA and sprayed several plants with it, a couple of weeks ago . My question is a dumb one. Is a 20PPm solution of his 4% solution, the same as a 20PPM solution of the Megagrow which is only a 0.016% solution? I have seen no noticable growth , although I have not been measuring and keeping detailed stats. The one thing that did seem affected by the GA was a Christmas Cactus that was on my bakers rack of houseplants outdoors for the season. It usually just sits still and does nothing until fall when I bring it in. After I sprayed with GA, it started new growth and budded out!!! It is ready to open up any day now. I noticed on the Megagrow users Guide it recommended 200PPM for early flowering, 800PPM for Bloosom set and 2000PPm for seed germination. My little bottle would not begin to do that. ???
Gibberillic question
Did you follow the directions to get the 20PPM? 20PPM is always 20PPM. It means 20 parts per million.
That's what seemed logical to me , but when they recommended such high PPM's I began to wonder. It is very easy to mix as each capful to 32 0z of water is 10PPM. So I used two , to make 20PPM. It recommended weekly spraying, so I will continue use and see what happens. Thanks! Lou
Lou, there is a thread somewhere about a girl doing the gib experiment. I think she used much higher PPM.
