I was away from the computer most of the afternoon and come back and check on them and it appeared they were both going to flop right over the side! Thank goodness Mama is back now and it almost looks like she's scolding them for being so close to the sides. I hope so, these little buggers are scary to watch!
Alaskan Eagle Cam
Oh My!!! Mama's gone again and they are back at the edge again. I think they need to have their little butts paddled if they aren't going to listen.
You said it Joan, It's making me nervous. We would never know the outcome would we?
did you see the link that I posted that had pictures of the tree the nest is in? it's quite a drop.
Here is another web cam for eagles, these were born in april, but they have videos showing the eggs being hatched, that is pretty neat.

I did see the pictures. If they fell, they wouldn't make it I'm afraid. Have you seen Daddy eagle lately? I haven't seen him since the first day. Maybe Daddy could convince them to stay in the middle where they belong.
I didnt see daddy per se....I got a glimpse once wih two adults in it, but was doing something (maybe my boss was talking to me) and I couldnt really look at it, when i went back to look the parents were gone.
I was wondering about starting a new thread, this one is starting to take along time to open.....
If you start a new thread, can you put the hyperlink in it? Since I'm using a borrowed computer, that is the way I get there, 'cuz I don't want to put a bunch of stuff on this computer.
oh - ok - will do
momma just got back
Thanks for posting the new thread, Pebble.
Here's the link for all --> http://davesgarden.com/showthread/268165.html
Hi Jo that is so cool I didn't realize it's time lapse, how did you do that. flowP
FLOWERPOT!!! Welcome Home! When did you get back? I am in TN visiting my son...then the round up...the cam was set up by some orginazition and it was sent to me. Have on on here for the Manatees in Fla also, but it is not as active as this one. Jo
Hi Jo thanks glad to be back, and we've been home a week yesterday. My compitor had a virus so had to get it fixed before I could come and visit. We were real careful of the Manatee! So careful we never saw one, it was always you should have been here yesterday. They just don't want me to see them.LOL flowP
Boy, was I scared when I peaked at these two this evening! I didn't see anything ~ but, I remembered that if the sun is at just the right angle, it aims at the bullseye of this nest! Anyway, here's my screen shot for the day (rather insignificant) --> http://davesgarden.com/editgj/showimage.php?iid=7905
Time to start a new thread, too! This one takes too long to load!
What ever happened to our Eaglets? I was gone and missed it. Jo
the camera broke - and we havent been able to watch - they are no doubt out on their own soaring thru the skies of alaska....
Thanks Pebble!! Jo
