I was going down the list of forums and found Garden Foes, I"m going "What the hay?" So I checked to see if another forum had been added, not! So, I figure this used to be pests and diseases? If so, when did it change?

Hey, cool new name. Of course, it could be called
"Garden Fauxes" and it could be for members who pretend to be gardeners just so they can read Horseshoe's posts. ;)

hehehe, the forum was renamed when Dinu requested a forum for weeds.

After some suggestions, Dave decided to expand "Pests and Diseases" to Garden Enemies, which then became "Garden Foes"

Do I dare ask when it was changed? I thought I was keeping up pretty well here, but maybe I'm not. But, I feel better that I'm not the only one who just noticed it.

Gardenwife, we need to update your lingo here.

In today's slang, wouldn't they be called "Garden Poseurs"? (Or are most of us hooked on fonics and we'd spell that as "poser" without the affective, unnecessary, silent "u" in there...)

(Sorry...couldn't resist. Found this blast from the past while looking for something else ;o)

Terry, I was looking up something earlier today and kept finding myself getting hooked on "posts from the past" or rather "Threads from the past" instead of continuing on to my destination. What a great time it is to just relax and enjoy reading them again! I was grinnin', I was teary-eyed, I was laffin' out loud! What a pleasure!

Now, as for THIS thread...it seems I just learned how to pronounce a new word..."posers"! (It just rolls off the lips perfectly!) Thanks, Folks!
