I have a groundhog who lives on my back hill, normally we get along just fine, but right next to his hole I have a giant Johnson's Blue geranium all the flower buds and leaves are just plain gone!!! I do have others near there and they seem untouched. ANyone else ever experiance this??? As I said I've never really have had a problem with the groundhog, I'm only assuming he's te eating my plant.
Help!!!
Becky
Do groundhogs like geraniums??
I love my geranium jonson blue. I have never had the problem you speak of. But then I have a cat named Ukie who thinks the garden is his and not mine. I have learned to share! He keeps the groundhogs at a distance. I hope there are others here that can help because my gut feeling is that it is not the groundhog that is the culprit. But then i don't have any info to offer as to what it might be that is having lunch on your geranium.
