This lady really put some time into her gardening site. She has a map of her yard with icons of cameras you can click to take you to that view of the yard. Once at the picture page, there's a full color one on the left, and a faded one on the right with the names of the plants superimposed on them. Very, very neat! :) http://www.geocities.com/RainForest/Vines/9158/gardmap.html
One gal's neat gardening site
i can't even imagine having the time to do that. i can't even keep ahead of weeds.
She also journalled from 1997 through the present. It's really something! One thing she says that I love is "I DO NOT fuss". That's my kind of gardening!
I guess I'm too long in the tooth for all this precise documentation but I admit if you have the time then it's pretty neat!! Many of the universities and garden sites also have this feature but without the camera icon.
I wonder if she did some of this with a special gardening program....so detailed! But I like it....don't have time to do it though. I barely make it inside the house to read all these post in the summer :*)
Gardenwife, I look at that link. Thanks for posting it. I am not familiar with all of the names of the plants. Will have to get out my book. I looked at it and said Wow!!!!!!Beebalm
