"Big Lots" Frog flower pot

Found a great flower pot, mainly for water gardens. It is a Frog pot that I found at Big Lots for just three dollars. Its medium-to-small size. I put a palm in it and it looks great. If there's a Big Lots around where you live go and see if you can find it, it makes a nice flower pot for the water garden.

went to one last night to check out the 3 piece bristo-the green one was broken so I passed. but I did end up with a garden 4 piece dragon and a pedestal with planter-both were only 19.99. the garden arches were sold out as were the gazing balls-10.00 and stands 5.99! =[
they do have alot of garden things-nicely priced. Sundials are only 7.99 and nice!

kirklands is another store much like big lot!

I got a few things at Big Lots a couple of weeks ago. If ya hit 'em right you can get some good deals.

Another is the Dollar General type stores. I don't know if you have these in your area, but we've got them all over the place. They are a kind of modern-day five and dime store.

They have lots of pots for cheap, and they sell those 10 packets of seed for $1. My mom says the seeds are just fine and give good germination.

At our dollar general I found some really nice pots for $3. They are window-sill pots with a metal cart that the pot is sitting on.

Aco hardware also has seed packets that are 10 for $1. My neighbor has had no problem with them germinating.

We have Maces over here on the Island and they get really nice things from various stores that are closeouts and its probably 80% off regular retail. Have to go atleast 4 times a week to get the new merchandise because when its gone- its gone.
All sorts of gardening things from hoses to little fences to garden accents.... If I need something I check there first. The grass seed is junk tho. All weeds but heck, cant have it all -- all the time.

I just love the Dollar stores, a couple weeks ago I found frog stepping stones for $1.00!!! They are not very big but I bought 10 of them!!!! Now I have to figure out where to put them. I also found little gremlin's only 8" high but they are great, one is picking his ear, one has his finger up his nose and the other is scratching his butt!! I saw them in the Tuscano catalog but never bought them, so now I have little one's for only a buck. (I am such a bargin hunter!!!) sue

Sue, I saw those in Tuscano too! cute but too much. I will have to check out the Dollar General. I LOVE Big Lots, I have a mini greenhouse (OK, for me a plant stant) I got there for $19.99 looks just like the ones in Parks Seed catalog for $89.99. Also have picked up several statues, etc for garden decorating.
