I had great luck growing these seeds and they climbed and climed and bloomed and bloomed. The tops are still nice and full, but the bottom leaves of both are withering and dying...is this normal? Are they annuals even here in Florida? And if so, how long can one expect for them to perform? Thanks in advance for your advice!
Cypress Vine and Cardinal Climber
Dale,
They will continue to flower until late fall.
Dale, Mine done that last year. This year I planted them on the fence again, but I also planted some low growing plants in and around the base of the vines so that it would hide them. Mine bloomed up to late fall and reseeded its self nicely!!
Thank you all! I know they are simple plants, but it's the first time I experienced them and I really like them! Am growing some of their seeds now! This is getting fun! The gift that keeps on giving!
