Hi, We finally closed on our house this past Friday. There are brick and concrete planters in front of the house and they are currently full of stringy, 18 inch skinny leaved plants that look for all the world like chives growing... also are dying grape hyacinths and some crocuses and tulips were growing there earlier when we first saw the house back in April. Might be some lilies there too... of some type?? Looks like daylily leaves coming up and a piece of some type of hosta.
The other one had tags from vincas in it but nothing was growing in it and still is not. It's a lot smaller than the one in front of the window.
I was thinking of putting some wave petunias in there (house faces east without a lot of shade during the day in front)... and something taller behind it... or a combination of things...
Ideas???
Thanks!
Love to all,
Janie
New House... and garden dilemmas!
Congratulations on your new home! I think the petunias would be a great color help and would let you have something there right away. Have fun!
Congratulations on your new home. Have fun getting settled in both in and outdoors.
