Mark how could you!! Don't you know we have Kings and Queens who are crowned because of this!! I don't think we need more exposure!! Just ask tig....lolol!!!!

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I'm a rank amateur at thread-starting, only 272 to my name. (And some of those REALLY shouldn't count, because they were done in a spirit of civic pride - trying to get help for the Plants Database, monthly anniversary announcements, announcing features like the Watchdog, Gardenology, etc. Surely those shouldn't count to any notion I might be "talkative", LOL!)

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

No Terry - the ones in the 'line of duty' don't count!!! :-)

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

I am a shy one compared to you Mark! I only started 229! I post a lot to answer other threads but didn't realize I had initiated nearly so many!

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

:) @ Mark

383 here

Surry, VA(Zone 7b)

I've only started 47 - I thought it would be alot more since I've been here since 12/00. I know the number of threads that I have responded to is several times higher!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I am NOT the queen of this!! LOL! mark, you beat me on this one

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

430 for me!!! Phew!!! I have been here almost 15 months now. Is that a good enough excuse!! :-)

Cape May Court House, NJ(Zone 7a)

I don't win this one either!!!! Maybe if we did "HOW MANY HOSTA DO YOU HAVE" I might win!!!! hehe!!!!!! 182 for me!!!!
sue

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

Wow - a whole 44 from me! But I have only been here a little while. Give me time LOL ;)

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

That's a pretty good average Phil!! :-) Sue you have been very well behaved - haha!!

Antrim, Northern Ire, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

Ruby

Mark

Cape May Court House, NJ(Zone 7a)

No Mark I can't beat that yet!!!!! Right now I have 125 different kind but there are several that I have more than 1 of! I would guess total of around 200, so I guess I have a long way to go!!!!!!!!
sue

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Only 135 for me. Doesn't seem possible, but I'm sure I did it. Don't want to know how many posts I've made, but am safe there......... :-)

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Whahhhh....I'm justa baby at starting threads! (But I love to participate in ya'lls!!) (shhhh..I'm shy ya know.) ô¿◄

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

if I don't watch out, I might gain the unfortunate lead here too! I'm at 400 already. and haven't been here near as long as mark or louisa!

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

I am not one to start anything, I just do what Shoe does. But we make great responders, don't we?

Brooklet, GA(Zone 8a)

wow, I had no idea how many i had started until I just looked. 417 can you believe it. i never dreamed it was this many.

Seward, AK(Zone 3b)

I've started 111 threads... not a huge amount, but I just joined Dave's February 2002!

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

Sounds a huge amount to me for only that short time!!
You gasbag Weez ;~O
:)

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

That's ok Weez! Many of them were funny so I was glad to see you jump in and enjoy yourself. Not to mention the belly laugh you gave me!

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

Definitely second that Zany, WZ knows i'm only teasing. Her wit and knowledge have enriched DG.
.....and those carrots, lol! Not to mention her tomcat.....

Seward, AK(Zone 3b)

Philomel: There's an old blues song that says, "Don't get me talkin'.. I'll tell you everything I know." It's my theme song! I've been a subscriber for 80 days, and some days I didn't post at all, so that's well over a per day!

Zany, are you inferring that the DH & I do not take gardening seriously.. I suppose you'll refer to our winter tomato planting, or my feet with two different shoes, or "The Old Tom Cat Spraying My Greenhouse"... or that notorious "Macho Carrot" thread... or the one where I had a paperclip stuck to the bottom of my shoe...

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

NOPE~I figured ya took gardining a bit to serious when I saw that mater pic! But I also thought maybe ya needed a few pointers on planting times and zones...But then I realized that Shoe told you it was time to plant and from that pic you both had ta be more than a bit zoned alreadt ;~)

Seward, AK(Zone 3b)

Well, we pulled that poor tomato plant (still in it's pot) and put it back in the greenhouse.. it never even wilted! I counted tomato plants yesterday, and I have about 340 plants. That's pretty funny, considering they are a greenhouse item around here!

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

That is a lot of tomatoes! Are you planning to can them or make a fortune selling them?

Seward, AK(Zone 3b)

Probably neither! I'll sell what I can, and I'll put a few in the greenhouse this summer, but I don't have much luck with them since I neglect the greenhouse as soon as the outdoor plants get going. I'd really like to grow nice tomatoes, but at best, there are never enough to can.. mostly cherry tomatoes and other early varieties.

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

251 for me-Im kinda shy ya know! ;}

Surry, VA(Zone 7b)

Since the "shy" Shoe has started more threads than me, (I had to check), and Philomel hasn't been here as long as me, am I the recluse or the queen of duct tape so far? Not too good of a thought either! lol

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Carol7! I kinda like Queen Duct Tape...can we call you Ducky or will you be demanding full title at all times ?

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

*gasp*, 677 for me since joining March 28, 2001. Well shut mah mouth!

Noone to touch you so far.

Jesteburg-Wiedenhof, Germany(Zone 8a)

Being generally silent, and soft spoken of character, I was utterly appalled after learning that I had initiated discourse on 27 occassions in these fori of education, compassion and wit.
Those to whom I have had absolutely no contact whatsoever, whether written or otherwise, could possibly imaging that I was only initiating these conversations, through sending the introductory correspondence, expedient to my own requirements.
Therefore, I beseech those with whom, perchance, I may, or may not, communicate, (or vice versa), to attempt to discern between expediency, and the furthering of the mind through education.
Since my entree´in this gardener's site, on the 3rd day of the April of this year, I have been instructed on numerous occassions as to the most prudent administrations for the cultivation, development, and also nourishment of the botanical growth maturing in my flower-beds, more commonly known as plants.
I can assure those, as yet unknowns, that my venture in seeking knowledge of a science, of which I have had but the most amateur of apprenticeships, has been aided by the commencement of the aforementioned communications through the illustrious, and seemingly infinite, botanical knowledge of the fellow botanists.
Here rules not only an 'esprit de corps', here is Camaraderie written with a capital 'C'.

Your humble scholar

Wintermoor

I'm very quiet at only 143, that's 11.91 threads a month since I've been here.

Circleville, OH(Zone 8b)

We'll I guess I am quite on this end as well, only 137.
I tend to post on everyone elses, LOL

Mike

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Wintermoor, it almost amounts to poetry when you put it that way.

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)
