I lost hardy plants over the strange winter--whole clumps of daylies got heaved out of the ground and had to be re-planted--and you know what is green and proving perennial and has no problems--parsley; the stuff I planted for the swallowtail butterfly larva (both the curly and the flat Italian)--go figure!!!!!!!!!
Spring in WI ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Marcia,
Hey, if your daylilies don't make it,
just let me know...
I've got tons that I'd be happy to share with you.
Melissa :-)
Feeling your pain Marcia - ditto here!! Battling all the elements cold/hot/cold/hot and the 'deer'!! Almost giving up!!
Thanks Melissa, I will keep your offer in mind, as I watch what grows.I will have lots of parsley !!!!!! Louisa I do not have deer, but have bunnies, woodchuck. chipmunks and even beaver-Not one of them like parsley. Don't give up though. Are there some that you have lost that I could look for ?
No I haven't lost any deer!!! lolol!! Sorry Marcia - I'm a bit giddy today (silly)!! Haven't lost anything yet - they just look, well....eaten!! :-)
