Sis and "eyes" again!!

Hey guys this is Spring - you're not supposed to be hibernating now!! Seriously though, hope all is well and that you are just two busy little beavers. I'm a little concerned because it's not like you to ignore my emails!! Hurry back, you are being missed!!

Me, too! I hope you are both okay! Louisa, they're probably out in the garden, soaking up some of this spring sunshine. I hope so, anyway!

Unless they are both out of town because they haven't acknowledged my mail and this is unusual to say the least!!

Yep, then that's got to be it. I'll bet Sis is out truckin' somewhere, but don't know about Eyes. It is kind of unlike her to not post for so long. But I don't want to be an alarmist! Maybe her 'puter broke ~ those storms last week were full of lightning. Anybody got her phone number? Wanna' check on her for us?

SIS are always at Garden Events forum so you can look it up and talk to at GE forum to let her know that you was looking for her. =)

Sis has not been to Garden Events in a while now!! I know she does travel with her DH sometimes. I hope that's it!! As for Jerrie - well I don't know. She was mailing me regularly and now nothing :-( Does anyone have any info or telephone numbers please and if you do will you kindly give them a call. Thanks!!

I was wondering about them too Louisa I haven't had an email from eyes in days. But I do know she was busy with her garden lets hope that's all it is. There phone lines might me out too if the storms where really bad. Let's hope we hear from them soon....

It's the storms I'm a little concerned with Peggy for Jerrie anyway. Don't think Sis got them!! I sure do hope we get word soon and I shall keep bumping this thread to the top. You would think someone would know of their whereabouts!!

There were reports of tornadoes for Thursday - saw it on the weather channel last night but there were no injuries. Terrible hail though!! Could be their puters are down!! Thanks Redrose!!

Sending this to the top again and probably boring everyone to death and I'm sorry for that but I really can't stop thinking about our garden friends.

I have looked to see if I had a number to call, but I don't. I don't usually get too worried, but I am getting concerned about these two. Just totally out of character. Being in central Texas, I had some of the rough weather, but not as bad as other areas. I have only heard of people who have been identified being involved in cars swept away or other storm related mishaps. And I would have thought Sis would have said something about going in the truck.

I tried not to be too alarmed Aimee. Weather is a factor of course but unexpected family issues or ill health come to mind too. It is just not like them!! You would honestly think that someone here would know of their whereabouts. Were we not all talking about this not too long ago - that if anything happened to us, how would we let DG know!!!! Maybe they are on a vacation!! But there again, they would have said something :-(

Surely someone has a phone number, or can think of a family member they have mentioned that we could contact? This is really approaching the all-out panic stage, it's been so long.

Has anyone traded recently with either Sis or 'eyes'???

Oh U must be so worry about SIS or EYES and I bet they are busy something came up hope nothing serious so, I bet they will coming back DG when they get a chance. Keep Pray for them both!

If we knew their real names and their husbands names, maybe calling information would produce a phone number. Anyone know those things and could try that?

Something must be wrong with there phone lines or something its not like either one of them to not check in. I REALLY hope we hear something soon. WE miss ya Eyes and Sis please check in soon!!!

Joan I do know 'eyes' real name and I have her address. I thought of sending her a letter but she's not answering my emails so didn't think that would do much good. But having said that now if her computer is down then a letter will do the trick. I don't know about obtaining phone numbers. It may be invading her privacy. How does it work over here!! By the way - if computers are down, are messages bounced back??

Joan I just checked with mail call forum and you traded with "eyes" but obviously you don't have her number either!! As did, Agapanthus, Pardacanda, and Pebble. I guess none of you have her phone number!! Come to think of it I haven't seen posts from Agapanthus either!! Do I just drop this line of enquiry or what?? It's really bothering me!!

Louisa I am worried too!!!! Maybe it would be a good idea to start a phone list of somekind. Kinda like Flowox's address list. Where one person could have phone numbers of people that would want to submit them. OR where everybody would give there phone number to another DG member(where at least one person would have a way to get in contact) so if something like this happens we would have a way to get in touch. Just a thought!

Louisa, yes I traded with "eyes" so I could send her a note, don't have her telephone number. 'Sis'' I only have sent email. Things do come up, so I am hopeful they are both fine. Sometimes it is just a computer problem which can take time to repair. John

John seems strange they both disappear about the same time!! I am going to send a note to 'eyes' - don't have sis's addy!! Don't know how the telephone thing would work Peggy - many people don't like giving that out but I did wonder whether it would be possible for Dave to be the trustee of such a scheme but that would be adding to his already heavy workload!!

I know what you mean Louisa thats why I said one person would have the list.. Not a list that would go to everybody. But I really think if we all just had one person we trusted to let know our phone number then we would at least have a way to check on people.

Yes, it is a good idea!! A few people have mine already!! So does this mean that you are volunteering to be the trustee??? :-)

Louisa I would be glad too if anybody wants to do it and trust me to keep there number private.

I have tried to call Jerrie, but her number must be under another name, as there is no one in that town with a phone listed under her last name as I know it. Does anyone have any idea if her husband has a different last name?
