When hybridizing, what is the correct way to name the resulting plant? In other words, if I take pollen from Plant A and use it to pollinate Plant B, how do I properly name this cross? Would it be "Plant A x Plant B" or the other way around? Or does it matter??
Naming hybrids
it's the other way around, seed bearer first, then pollen donor

That's a great question - I had wondered myself. So if it's seed bearer then pollen donor, in other words "Mom x Dad"? (Trying to get it down to my level of understanding, LOL.)
yes, that's it GV
Good one, Go_Vols!! Thanks for the info TiG.
