Lathyrus crosspolination

At last I've aquired some Lathyrus nervosa seeds without spending a fortune. My main worry now is whether it will cross with other Lathyrus species.

Anyone care to put their tupenny hapenny orth in?

Baa - I've read that members of the pea family are self polinating. Some are polinated before the flower even opens. I doubt they'll cross with other species - but I don't know for sure.
