Help with Veggies

I dont know where the time has gone to. I wanted to plant some lettuce, tomatoes & Cucumbers this year and now its April 2nd. Is it to late to start these in Zone 5b?

i am starting stuff like that here-borderline 5/6!
lettuce is a coldweather plant-I just planted it and peas outside and the snow is covering them! you can start tomatos and cukes inside now! ;]

Hempstead, TX(Zone 8b)

lettice is a cool weather plant so you should be good for a while with that. they can take frost well. here i grow lettice all winter. i don't think it is to late to start your tomatoes and cucumbers either.

Benton, KY(Zone 7a)

I'm still starting tomatoes here in 7a. Where to put them is going to be a challenge though. My biggest are basking on the porch outside and I can't seem to quit putting trays of seeds under the grow lights.

As long as you have about 6 weeks before you set them outside,you can go for it. I wouldn't try any of the ones that take over 85 days to maturity,but anything else should be fine.
