ROTF!! This beats even last year's April 1 post. Good one! I just have one request: Pare my molecules down so I wear a size 12, okay? ;)

Heck, I have been told we will one day be able to zap ourselves and other matter by compressing or otherwise altering molecules to send them someplace else, then the molecules will reassemble. Now I wonder if I have been deceived all along, since about 1956! When I get my zap gun, I think I will set it on reduced unzap, so the excess will just not be there.

He is amazingly smart tiG! he told us all about his invention to get feedback on it and then convinced us it was all a joke so we wouldn't try to steal his work and sell it before he gets it patented!

Man, what a disappointment! I came to this forum tonight to ask Dave if instead of the spell checker, he could fix it so our messages would be entered from our thoughts- what we MEAN to say, rather than what we end up typing. Saves lots of time & mistakes, and is lots easier in chat. When I saw this thread, I thought, "What a great idea! And entering our messages from our thoughts will be the perfect companion technology!" I just knew Dave was the man for the job...

Sigh...

Drat-got me too--I am also a Trekker (esp. TNG), although I love Spock and then Data-Capt. Picard is my hero. I really want them to develop a transporter, so that I can zap to see my relatives, with plants in hand. Can you imagine a holographic garden!!!!!!?????????? SIGH
