Have any of you used the product WOW that Audubon Workshop sells? It's supposed to control a variety of weeds in the lawn while fertilizing. It's made from a byproduct of corn syrup production. http://audubonworkshop.com/frame.asp?s=/prog_disp.asp?prog_nbr=14&sid=200138&EID=weg031902&
Anyone have experience with this stuff?
WOW (With Out Weeds) ???
sorry never used it but i thoiught about trying it this year. a friend used it in atlanta and said it worked great.
I just saw the reddish-orange rose of sharon called "Freedom" at that site. Would love to have one, but can't see paying almost $40 for the minimum order of 3.
Would anyone have one for postage? I am pretty sure you can start them from slips also, early in the summer.
I was interested in some of the weigela they have for $3.98/ea in groups of three or more...I don't see how a co-op would work on this, though, since they'll ship it all to one address and it probably won't be worth the additional postage/hassle to re-distribute everything. I'm trying to get friends and relatives locally in on an order with me, though. :)
Hey, ob - they have a deal now where you get $20 off an order of $40 or more. Did you see that?
Hmmm...wonder if that Audubon Workshop is related to GardensAlive? They've been selling WOW right many yrs now.
(Noticed that site also sold several other products G-Alive sells.) By the way, altho the product description mentions that 10# will take care of 1000 sq feet I believe the $8.99 price tag is for only 5 pounds (covers 250-500sq ft).
None-the-less, I'm tickled pink there are more and more alternatives to weed control now being offered (as opposed to the heavies that have been available in the past).
