Looking for info on Canna Lily

Can anyone tell me if Canna Lilies are Perennial? I seen a beautiful one today I am thinking about getting and was wondering if it will come back up. Also any info you have on growing them would be greatly appreciated.

Canna are hardy to zones 7 and up so they have to be dug in other zones for winter. They are well worth having to dig them for storage because they are very pretty and some of them have great foliage.
