Mystery seed!??

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Ok I have been trying to get some seeds started and in digging in my seed box I came across some seeds that were marked as "Melangpodium" these were a bonus package and so now I am trying to figure out what these are!! I have done search after search and I still come up with nothing!!! I don't know if the word was just spelled wrong or what??! Do any of you happen to know what these are? or maybe a different name for them?? again the name on the pack is "Melangpodium"
Thanks in advance!

The closest thing I can think of is Melampodium. It's part of the daisy family and grows in mounds. It is yellow. It blooms from late spring to frost. Sows seeds indoors at 70 degrees for 8 to 10 weeks before warm weather. Sow seeds in dark but when they germinate put under bright lights. Requires at least a half day of sun or more...Hope this is the same thing...Good Luck...vic

I done a search on Google and it actually had a link to here where back in August of 2001 "Sprouts28" had these same seeds. I am kinda thinking that they are in the Daisy family also, so Thanks for the info above. I will be sure and use it in starting these seeds.
Thanks again!!

Very pretty! maybe this is it, and the spelling was wrong on the seed pack.

These are such lovely little darlings. They will bloom all summer and never look scraggily no matter how you might treat them! I have had them in containers, usually.
