Here is one of my prizes! (Well, actually two of them!) (The one on the right is a 200# Doberman so that should tell you how big the gourd is!)
For JCF (gourd)
wow! that is huge. lol
yep! it was all I could do to have the boom truck harvest that gourd! And then the guard-dog has been well, guarding it!
Hmmmmnn Guess they use a different measuring system in NC! But lb. for lb. I bet this little one is worth his/her weight in gold or gourds!
I've been biting my tongue! Such a sweet little puppy. 200#?? LOL!! She looks like she'd fit on my lap with no problems. No comments about THAT please!! But then, the puppy and the gourd seems to take up the some of the width of the boardwalk, so maybe....probably.....hmmm....are they really that big?....
optical illusion?

JoanJ...I don't reckon I could convince ya'll the boardwalk is ten feet wide, could I? τΏτ
Horseshoe I just love your prize gourd but I have to say that the little cutie on the right has taken the show, he/she is just a little precious baby, God love it's little heart.
I just fell in love with that little face and not to mention that it's not as big as the gourd lol, just makes it to adorable for words.

'little cutie'? 'not as big as the gourd'? You best watch out!...she's gonna nip ya! gonna nip ya way up high too! right up there on your big toe! (sheeesh...even my big dog don't get no respect!) Have mercy! τΏτ
LOL now you know she loves you and every now and then she feels she has to give you a nip to keep you in line lol.

.....big dogs bite...little dogs nip! Am I on tract here? And, I might give that boardwalk 3 foot wide, max.
Shoe??? Where's my recipe?
Uh-ohh....glad you jogged my memory JoanJ. Will start typing it out right away.
As for big dogs/little dogs...a nip hurts as bad as a bite (I'm experienced!) I've been nipped by a Cheewaawaa (I spells it like I says it)...weren't no fun either. Biggest dog I ever had (part Shepherd, part Hog-hound, named Reubin but we called him Rhubarb for short) wouldn't bite a fly. Sure wish I had grown gourds back then, just for good ol' Rhubarb.
