Lee, I've got an Agarve in a pot. It's only 2 years old at present and i shelter it in a green house over the winter with all my other succulants. But i thought i might risk it next winter out in the fresh air, what do you think Mr Cactus Man...LOL

I have a small piece of hardy outdoor cactus, which I found as a pup on a sidewalk. It bloomed a beautiful yellow flower even while rooting in sand! It survived the winter outdoors and it's already standing up and ready to grow in the garden :)

Cacti growers,
I stumbled upon a site that sells quite a few types of cactus seeds, in addition to everything else. You might want to take a look.
