I remember a Literature class I took years (EONS) ago that discussed "voice" Each writer telling a tale in his or her own way. A short story was used as an example. It was written from the view of a miner in the gold rush and to get the point across the author mispelled and mis used many words and puntuations. Our assignment was to rewrite a single paragraph using proper english. When we did we soon understood that in doing so the story lost it's interest and became BORING! Our typos and mispellings give "voice" to our comments. To become too hung up on being picture perfect would take that away and I for one would sorely miss it!

That is really NEAT, thanks Greenwood sometime my hubby and I or us need to know how to spell it that work to find here Atomica, I am sure other appreciate this too. I like that.

Zany my 11 year old grandson had to write a story for a class at school. A couple of years ago he wrote a story and it won first place in a city wide contest from the school system. If you remember I wrote about taking him to a Braves baseball game and I wrote about us being on national T.V. and posted here on Dave's.
He had to write another article for the class this past week and wrote about me taking him to the game and the things that happened. I am looking forward to actually reading the story and see how close his rendition is to the one I posted here. One of the things that my DIL said he put in his story was that we plan on making it a FAMILY TRADITION. Well I hope he spelled everything correctly anyway. And I guess I'll be telling about the Braves game again before long.

Zany it is not just the incorrect spelling but trying to remember how to spell something. I know we all make mistakes and I by no means trying to be perfect, it's just frustrating.

Hey...Wind don't worry about that you have problem with spelling me too sometime no one is perfect and take your time to learn how to spell it. =)
