I'm wanting to combine some Coleus with my hostas this year and would appreciate some suggestions on your favorite Coleus, and their attributes.

I bought some fringe leaf coleus last year on ebay and they were fantastic. I fact I entered the 2 containers in a contest in September and won a 1st and 3rd place. I planted mine with chartruse and burgundy sweet potato vines.
I ordered some more seeds for this year. I listed them on the Watchdog heres the link.

I really don't know the name of mine (coleus) that I love so dearly. But the leaves are tiny and the shape of little duck feet. I have a little jar of it rooting in the kitchen window. I think this coleus likes maybe alittle more sun than some hostas. So don't know how they'd be for planting together.
I also have chartruse and burgandy sweet potatoes rooted in the kitchen window in just water. It is the first year that I have tried to keep them overwinter and try to get them to grow again.. I will have to harden them I suppose.
paulgrow, do you try to keep any of your coleus cuttings over winter or start new ones from seed each year?
