I'm pulling my hair out.....

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

or very nearly!! I am trying to find a stockist of Cotoneaster lacteus (Parney's cotoneaster). I've been searching for about 4 hours now and I'm ready to quit - just too tired!! Found many wholesale nurseries that do supply it but no retailers. Begging for help............

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Louisa, try Arbor & Bloom: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/349/

Also try PlantOregon: http://www.plantoregon.com/us.html Their website says they are a wholesale company, but will sell to other customers for a $100 minimum.

If you want to try growing from seed, try Carter Seeds: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/76/

It sounds like you have your heart set on this species, but if you're open to considering other species, try Forestfarm: http://gardenwatchdog.com/c/25/ as they have several listed.

Louisa, do you mean the links didn't work, or they don't carry the species? I know I saw C. lacteus (C. parneyi) in each source I listed. Let me know if I can help you further - I know how it can be to look high and low for just the right plant.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Louisa try http://www.forestfarm.com/ They have it in last years catalog ... which I have right here. One gallon is $7. I haven't ordered from this company so I don't know how the quality is. They do seem to have EVERYTHING tho. The catalog is about an inch thick!
