I received the gurney's catalog last week and it has a $20 gift certificate attached. The only requirement is that I purchase $20 or more in additional product. I read about them in the watchdog, and it sounds like this company has had their problems in the past. I have been reading about them and looked at their FAQ on their website. They are now under new management and trying to get customers back. I'm thinking about giving them the benefit of the doubt. Is anybody else going to take them up on their gift certificate? I could sure use the extra garden seeds that I could get for free with the certificate, but I don't want to lose money either. I have ordered veggie seeds from them before and can't say that I've had a bad experience, but that was many years ago before Foster and Gallagher took over.
Is anybody else going to try this?
Don't get their catalog so I can honestly say that I won't be taking them up on their offer.
Haven't received theirs yet, used to order from them,no problems' So many of us were burned last year, have to think long and hard' Springhill really hurt me the most after many years of good service/plants' Think I'll stay with locals this year as the mail is soo messed up too' IMHO Sis'
I have bought from them in the past and never had a problem. I have not received my catalog yet. I never had a problem with anything germinating or anything. If I get the catalog I am definitely going to use it. janet
