Couldn't Resist!!!!!!!!

Went to Wal-mart today and now that all their Christmas stuff is put away, all the gardening stuff is out. Yes!!! And of course Burpee has their fifty thousand seed display and of course even though I have a whole shelf in the refrigerator dedicated to seeds, I STILL had to buy more seeds, of course :-) - vic

Could not resist??????!!!!!!!!! Why on earth would you want to try?? Wal-Mart huh?

I took my girls to walmart last night. as we went thru looking azt all the clearence stuff by 11 yr old ran around the corner at me and said "you can't go down this isle mama" when i asked her why she stated "because its all gardening stuff!" Then started laughing and told me I did not need anymore seeds. You know of course I had to look.

I'm off to wal-mart tomorrow - gotta have more seeds and dirt and well, you guys know.

Hey Pam....I bought 11 packets of seeds - DUH, needed those like I need another hole in my head...Geez, guess I'm addicted :-)

Well - I got some too!!! I had to restrain myself to only a few but I did get some. (Had to get some more dirt and more pots and .....)

How long will seeds keep I wonder!! I have some quite old packets!! Longing to plant seeds of course and yes, I have a DH that sometimes can't take anymore 'gardening' shopping!! Addiction is definitely a wonderful thing!! :-) By the way - Want to know how I store them?? In a plastic shoe bag hung on the wall - you know one with all those pockets and I label them!! Spring sowing, summer sowing etc, etc.!!!

That's really a good idea Louisa. I keep all mine in the refrigerator. I think seeds will last quite a while. I have planted seeds with a 3 year old date on the packet and they germinated and bloomed. I'm sure all won't but give it a try......vic

Walmart?? Geez, I was just there getting cat food and didn't even think to look for seeds. I will have to go back. Big Lots ought to be getting their seeds in too, they have perennial seeds for 88 cents a pack and sometimes have odd ones.

.....going to Big Lots tomorrow!!
