How did you start your first garden? I recently bought a home and want to give it a go this summer but I know very little. Any tips or advice would be helpful! I’m in NYC, if that informs your advice. Thank you

Welcome!
My best advice is to start small. New gardeners often bite off more than they are prepared for and get frustrated.

Do you want flowers or vegetables...or both?
