This happened so quickly. All the leaves of my rose bushes dried out. It certainly is not dry in my zone 7. Knock Out roses and hybrid roses are all dying like this but they're still flowering. Does somebody know what this is?
Rose leaves drying out
This looks like pesticide or fertilizer burn.
Do you have any farm crops nearby where farmers spray? Pesticide drift on the wind is definitely possible.
Did you fertilize recently? Could you have mis-measured? I've done it, so know it's possible. Even neem oil that you apply could have burned the leaves if done in hot, sunshine.
Any other stressors like extreme heat or flooding could do this, but It looks chemical of some sort to me.
Nope. I'm the gardener here. I haven't put anything on them. They did it last year as well but it wasn't as severe. Its all of them, even the roses in part sun shade. It hasnt been hot in NY state. It started beginning to mid May.
