I don't know why I havent asked this before. But how many of you here at DG are desert gardeners? Texas, New Mexico, Arizina, Utah, Southern Ca. Desert Gardeners are hard to find. I would just love to hear from you!
Desert Gardeners?
Well, I'm not in the desert--Texas Gulf Coast--but last 2 summer's droughts almost turned it into a desert! That's when I began learning about xeriscaping and using native/drought tolerant plants. I've had to re-think my ideas about landscaping and what I COULD grow as opposed to what I WANTED to grow.
Nature always has her way...it's simply a matter of us learning to adapt to her, and using our precious natural resources wisely.
