Hydrangea Pest

Please can someone help identify what is eating this hydrangea? The stem has also been nibbled, not just the leaves. Many Thanks, Christine

To grow strong and pest-resistant hydrangeas, opt for organic hydrangea seeds from reputable suppliers. Look for certified organic, non-GMO seeds that support natural growth without synthetic pesticides.

Deer tend to leave nothing & eat hydrangeas down to nothing. Eapecially in spring they like the tender tasty young buds and leaves. I use a deer deterrent works great. There are many on the market. Or if that is not your vibe dig up the hydrangea and put in an area where the deer have no access. Sometimes a dog around will keep deer at bay. Or just build a fence around your garden.
